The purpose of this program is to improve the conditions of children and adults living with disability in 30 rural villages of Manikandam block of Tiruchirappalli district. Differently-abled people in India are live in harsh conditions, frequently abandoned, stigmatized, rejected or subjected to violence and exclusion. Through this program Care and Share identifies the differently-abled children and adults and provides them quality services, helping them to obtain identity cards from the concerned departments to get assistance from the government, put the children to school, provide them with the skills needed to manage their day-to-day activities by themselves and physiotherapy if needed.

We have currently 35 disabled children enrolled in this program. We want to change the attitude of the parents and the society on the disability and ensure every child has access to school, assistance from the government, physiotherapy and help and support to overcome the hardships faced by these kids.
