Rural and slum women are encouraged
to form Self Help Groups, which shall provide a platform to
come together, discuss, express and plan for their socio-economic
development.. Presently we have 200 SHGs with 2,600 membership
and they involve in savings and thrift and are federated at
Panchayat and Block levels. They adopt rights-based approach
to development by taking up issues and problems with the authorities
concerned. |
